Marilyn F. Nowicki D.V.M.
Dr. Nowicki was raised on a large farm in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Upon graduating from college, Dr. Nowicki worked as an Associate Veterinarian in a multi doctor practice in Lansing for a short time before relocating to South Florida where she began her Mobile Veterinary Clinic. Soon thereafter she owned a small, outpatient clinic in Opa Locka where she continued to work for many years. Her practice evolved and grew into a multi-clinic veterinary practice forming Animal Care Animal Hospitals throughout Broward County. Eventually,the practice evolved around Four Paws Animal Hospital which relocated from Davie Road Extension in Hollywood to Cooper City in 2011. Dr Nowicki has four cats at home, Rookie, Stomp,TC and Zen and a Shitzu/Chihuahua mix named Mercy which comes to work with her everyday. At the office she has a Yorkie, Chrissy,and two cats, Bentley and Slate. Dr. Nowicki's compassion for the animals and empathy for her clients is what keeps her clients dedicated to her. Her staff is all long term and her office is very family style and welcoming.
Graduated from MIchigan State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1976.
Is a member of AVMA, FVMA, SFVMA and BCVMA. Is licensed to practice in Florida, Michigan and Wisconsin.
Staci was raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and graduated from Northern Michigan University with an education degree. Upon graduation from NMU she moved to South Florida and worked at our hospital part time while attending Keiser University. After obtaining her PTA degree she was employed at Broward Health North for 6 years before returning to Four Paws to become our Practice Manager. She is well respected for her honesty, integrity and conscientiousness. Her positive attitude, organizational skills, strong work ethic, and excellent people skills make her a great team leader. She resides in Pembroke Pines with her partner Rebecca and their furry family...a weimaraner named Loki, a pomeranian princess named Teagan and four felines named Sebastian, Harli, Cori and Fleck.
Earned her Bachelor's Degree for Physical Education & Health from Northern Michigan University in 2007.
Earned an Associate of Science Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from Keiser University in 2009.
Diana McCormick C.V.T.
Compassionate, competent and gentle describes the newest member of our family. Di brings a renewed energy to our practice. Her love for her patients is a motivating factor in everything she does. She is a Certified Veterinary Technician that joined our staff in April, 2014. She worked as an assistant for 11 years prior to obtaining her degree. She works under the direct supervision of Dr. Nowicki. Her responsibilities include operating the in-house laboratory, taking and developing x-rays, dental cleanings, venipuncture, administering medications, IV placements, assisting in surgery, monitoring anesthesia, client education and more. Di is a native of South Florida. She lives in Hollywood and is a proud mom to eight rescue pets. She has two Chihuahuas, Mimi and Lulu, a Boxer named Bailey and five cats.
Earned her AA Degree from Miami Dade Community College in 1991.
Earned her Veterinary Technology Degree in 1999.
Is a member of AAHA, MVTA, FVTA and NVTA.
Conscientious, competent, and caring best describes Peaches. Her out-going personality, talkative nature, and sense of humor put our clients and their pets at ease. Her duties include assisting the doctor in the exam rooms, performing in-hospital bloodwork, taking and developing x-rays, assisting the doctor in surgery, and educating clients about medical care and procedures for their pets. Her medical knowledge and good observational skills make her an excellent nurse for our hospitalized patients. She is passionate about her work and takes pride in knowing her patients medical histories, needs and personalities. Peaches has been a dedicated Four Paws employee since graduating from high school in 1995. She is a Florida native and resides in Broward County with her husband Randy and her Chihuahua Mia.

Bright, bubbly, and bilingual, Zachi has been a receptionist at our hospital for over 10 years. Her knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and products make her a valuable asset to our practice. She is noted for her warm smile, outgoing personality, and cheerful, courteous attitude. In addition to her regular duties she is also a nutrition consultant for pets. She was born and raised in Miami and currently lives in Pembroke Pines with her husband Rene, her daughter Jenny, son Matthew, and her yorkie named Gizmo.

Dr. Nowicki has known Julie the longest of all the employees. They were co-workers at Biscayne Animal Hospital for one year prior to Dr. Nowicki starting her own hospital. Julie had remained a loyal client and friend throughout the years until she joined our staff in September 2011. Her honesty, humility, sincerity and her love for her pets has always impressed Dr. Nowicki. Julie's devotion to her family is equally impressive. She resides in North Miami with her two beautiful daughters, Chelsea and Ashley, her grandson named Cameron and granddaughter Sienna, a cat named Kashi and four dogs: NeNe, Juicy, LuLu, and Misha.

Michael is calm, quiet and gentle. His demeanor instills confidence in the pets and makes them feel secure. Michael worked for our hospital in 1995 before moving to South Carolina for a while. After returning to South Florida, he remained in the veterinary field until we were thankful to get him back in September 2014. His vast experiences has made Michael a huge asset to our hospital. Michael's responsibilities include caring for all the pets in our kennel, walking, feeding, bathing and assisting the doctor when needed. When Michael is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Patty. They have three dogs, three cats and a Quaker parrot.
Michael received his High School Diploma in New York in 1972.
Hardworking and compassionate best describes Amy, who is an important part of our kennel staff. Amy was born in New York and moved to Florida when she was 2 and 1/2 years old. Her soft voice and gentleness have a calming effect on the animals in her care. Her conscientiousness, love for animals, reliability, and power of observation make her a very valuable asset to our practice. In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her husand Logan and her family. Amy currently resides in Plantation with Logan and their two cats Crimson and Finn.
Graduated from Western High School in 2007.
Became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2015 after attending Sheridan Technical College.
